Decluttering Is A Healing And Transformative Process.
There’s an intimate relationship between the state of our home and our well-being.
When your home is out of balance it influences your inner balance and your health. When your space is set up well to support your life you’ll experience more ease and flow as you move through your day.
I understand that decluttering does not come easily to everyone.
Sometimes challenging life circumstances coincide and pile up and now you may find yourself in the overwhelming situation of having a disorganized and cluttered home that feels impossible to remedy. Once the clutter avalanche grows to a certain level it can be very difficult to climb out of it alone.
Emotional support, practical guidance and gentle accountability can cure the overwhelm, resistance, loneliness and self judgment that can come with having clutter.
If you have the desire to set things right but you don’t know how to get started, I can help you untangle the knots of your clutter and reclaim your space and inner peace.

"Megan has an incredible talent for helping people uncover their emotional attachments to clutter and for compassionately and skillfully guiding them through the decluttering process. I worked with Megan about a year ago to Feng Shui and declutter my apartment and it was a truly a transformative and healing process. When I work with Megan, I receive surprising results that go beyond my initial expectations. Work with Megan and your life will move forward!"

How Online Clutter Clearing Coaching Works
We meet online and sessions last for 60 minutes.
Ahead of our first session, you'll send me photos of your space which will give me insight into how to guide you. (I will never share your photos.)
In our first session, we will explore your history with clutter and your decluttering goals.
I create a customized plan for you based on your unique combinations of challenges. You’ll get specific assignments of what to work on in between our sessions. This is like having a map to guide you through decluttering.
Yet there is freedom in it for you to follow what you feel drawn to work on. And I will never tell you what to keep or what to let go but I’ll show you how to decide for yourself.
You’ll begin taking small actionable steps towards decluttering from the get go but if your tendency is to get swept away into other things, we will spend the first few sessions exploring how to address this.
I keep track of what has been completed and what still needs to be done, giving you gentle reminders so things don’t fall through the cracks.
In our sessions we'll address both the emotional side of clutter and practical steps to removing clutter.
Some examples of what we may do in our sessions based on your needs:
-
Exploring the roots of your clutter. What has or is contributing to your clutter and what is standing in the way of your motivation or ability to declutter.
-
Looking at your schedule and helping you find time for decluttering.
-
Exploring how to organize and arrange your space for better flow and organization.
-
Sorting and decluttering together. Having me there with you on zoom while you declutter is especially helpful when decluttering by yourself is the challenge.
-
This gives you a positive experience with decluttering which will make it easier to begin doing it on your own.
-
If doing it on your own is a challenge because you get easily distracted, doing it together will help you stay present, focused and moving forward with your goal.
-
-
Processing the hurdles that pop up along the way which can block progress when not addressed. We untangle these emotional clutter knots through awareness, exploration, compassion and gentleness, which allows them to loosen their grip or dissolve so that you can move forward.
How frequently do we meet?
It depends on your personal challenges with clutter and what stage you're at in your process.
-
If clutter has been a challenge for most of your life and you find it difficult to follow through on your own, we begin meeting once a week or twice a month. Meeting at this frequency will get the momentum going with creating a routine decluttering and help you get over the hump. Once you begin to make progress and find it’s easier to follow through on your own, we space sessions to meet every 3 or 4 weeks.
-
If you have no problem with doing the work on your own, once you have direction to guide you, then we meet every two weeks to once a month. Meeting at this frequency will give you time to do the work in between our sessions, but be close enough to help you stay on track.
-
If you don’t have the funds or the time to meet frequently or you’re already in a maintenance phase, sign up for a single session whenever you are ready to begin or ready for your next step.
Everyone is different when it comes to clutter. This is often what people don't have clarity on. We are going to figure this out together.
For some people letting go is the challenge.
For others, letting go is not hard but making the time to sort through to see what there is to let go is the challenge.
For some people the clutter itself is not emotional but the process of decluttering is highly emotional.
For others the clutter itself is filled with emotions.
For some people once they have directions, accountability and emotional support, following through on their own is no problem.
For others, following through on their own is a huge challenge, because they get easily distracted and swept away from their plan for decluttering.

“I’m always skeptical when someone says: It was life changing! But I'm going to say it anyway. Because working with Megan is life changing! This is a healing experience on so many levels…Megan, without judgment, helps you walk through those choices so you don't feel pressure. Her guidance is patient and compassionate and for me, helped me to make the best choices.
The blessings of her work and gifts continue to feel palpable for me. As I start tax season, I know where things are. When one of my children called to ask if I had their birth certificate, I knew where to look. And energetically, my house feels better and less stressful. I will say that working with Megan is a bold act of self love and frees you to really pursue your dreams and your calling.”
-Cindy Fogle, Maggie Valley, NC
"I realized that I needed help organizing my home after we purchased a new home with a 6 month old. Fast forward three years later and I still had not fully unpacked, and my home was creating feelings of helplessness and chaos. Megan was incredible in helping me organize and de-clutter my home. As a clothes hoarder, the initial session was challenging but Megan was understanding yet firm in helping me realize what was no longer having a positive impact on my life. She encouraged me when I needed it and held me accountable, enabling me to eliminate many items that I do not miss. She utilized a fresh and unique approach that made me realize what I needed to accomplish and how this process would help me achieve the states necessary to move forward in so many areas of my life! In fact, I received a career opportunity just weeks after our sessions, which was one area of my life that I was focusing on.
Overall, she was also very insightful in her approach to organization, and gave me some key suggestions which really transformed my office and bedroom especially. Now I feel serene and grounded in my home which is an amazing transformation! I would not hesitate to recommend Megan!”

Hi, I'm Megan.
I help people burdened by their clutter to break free and make progress. I believe that decluttering can be a healing and transformative process when approached with gentleness and compassion. My no pressure, go at your own pace approach, weaves together emotional support, practical guidance and gentle accountability. My background as a traditional healer and 20 years experience as a feng shui practitioner, lends itself well to guiding people through the transformative process of decluttering. I’d be honored to work with you and your home.
