The Compassionate Decluttering Circle

Coworking-Coaching-Community

Facilitated by Megan Pilar Montero

Meets Online For 10 Sessions February-April

Do you have a home decluttering or organizing project you'd like to make progress on but find it difficult to follow through on your own?

When people have a designated time to work in a supportive container, where they can go at their own pace, without pressure, and can ask the questions that trip them up and can hear the experiences of likeminded people, they can get their work done with confidence and grace.

Each step builds more confidence and the feelings of dread turn into enthusiasm and feeling good. This is why I created The Compassionate Decluttering Circle.

What is it?

A co-working decluttering group that offers community, connection, emotional support, practical guidance and gentle accountability to help you make progress decluttering.

"Megan's Compassionate Decluttering Circle has helped me break through the overwhelm of my clutter. I've been inspired to keep taking small actions throughout the week that have ended up transforming not only my room, but my habits around my clutter. I feel lighter about the tasks that need to be done, and more comfortable in my own space." J.C.

What we’ll do in each online coworking session…

  • Clarify goals, share wins and challenges.

  • Lessons & coaching based on your personal struggles to help you transform your obstacles into success.

  • We’ll do a mini Chi Gong session to help you get grounded, energized and clear.

  • We’ll have a ‘Let’s Get It Done Coworking Session’ to work on the area of your home you’ve identified as your goal. (45 min)

"Being part of a clutter-clearing circle is so helpful!  Hearing about the experiences of others adds depth and strength to my commitment, as I recognize a wide variety of pitfalls that I can avoid.  Seeing others nod as I tell my own stories helps me feel valued, connected and supported in the clutter-clearing process. I am grateful for your quiet, steady, reliable stand for the possibility of digging myself out from under the clutter avalanche I find myself in.  Thank you.  Clutter clearing promptly is becoming a stronger and stronger habit, one that is serving me very well!” SEC

Here are some examples of areas you might work on during the 3 months:

  • Your clothes-because your closets and dressers are bursting at the seams and it’s hard to decide what to wear.

  • The boxes you haven’t unpacked since you moved in-because they are taking up space and prevent you from using the room or garage.

  • Your office-because your desk is hidden under a pile of  papers and it’s not possible to ‘work’ at your desk.

  • Your kitchen-because over time your pantry, drawers, cupboards and counters have gotten crowded and now nourishing yourself has become an overwhelming chore.

  • That room that you can’t use because it’s filled with stuff-because maybe that would make a good meditation room or art space?

If this sounds like a good fit to you, please reach out to apply to join us.
