Clutter takes many forms

Clutter takes many forms, and it's different for everyone. And as modern humans, we all have some type of clutter!

Clutter can be…

  • the pile of papers on your desk that you haven’t looked at in months.

  • the overstuffed closet that makes it hard to decide what to wear.

  • the crowded kitchen cabinets that make it difficult to find things.

  • the odds and ends throughout your house that remind you of painful times in your past.

  • the critical thoughts and judgments in your mind.

  • the unfinished projects, waiting for someday.

  • too many commitments.

  • emails and junk mail.

  • wasted time on social media.

  • things you’ve inherited from other people.

  • gifts that you never used or enjoyed.

What is clutter for you?

Light a candle, pour a cup of tea and take 10 minutes to journal your answer.

Is there one area of clutter you’d like to work on decluttering this month?

Take slow and steady steps and be gentle and kind to yourself and before you know it your task will be complete.
